tipGive your boy, and encourage, plenty of frequent motion while he is studying.  And praise his teacher for any physical movement in class.
And strongly object when any boy is denied recess.
New studies from Finland show that frequent motion actually increases the learning for boys.  Frequent motion (every 15-20 minutes) is good for both girls and boys, but boys really need it.
Exercise is not a perk or benefit – – it is essential for learning.
