Door to Change Opens Wider

DoorCropThe reluctance to change has significantly diminished over the past three years, LERN has discovered in its recent consulting.
As a result, there has been a dramatic increase in employees, staff, and leaders who want more change, not less.
The two forces opening the door to change wider are:
1. The outmoded institutional structure of the last century is falling apart, making the need for change more obvious to all.
2. Gen Y’s entrance into the workforce has spurred, if not fuel, the desire for change.
While there is always some resistance to change, we have passed the tipping point and now those advocating change are far more influential than those reluctant to change.
